Lamborghini Gallardo Review

This two seat coupe is a high performing vehicle that can deliver exceptional speed. The design of the car is bound to attract a great deal of attention. The car has been introduced in the ultra luxury segment of vehicles and has become quite popular with the rich class of customers.

Although it's probably difficult for most people to think of a $200,000 automobile as "affordable," that's the position the Lamborghini Gallardo finds itself in within the Lambo product lineup. But no matter -- sports cars with exotic looks and the performance to match have a built-in ownership audience.
Since its introduction, the mission for this "baby Lamborghini" has been to maintain the style and attitude of Lamborghini's 12-cylinder cars but be more livable in everyday use. It's been a successful strategy, as there's been no shortage of takers who rightly lust after such a usable and alluring sports car. In fact, the Gallardo has become this Italian automaker's best-selling model ever.

Lamborghini Gallardo    Specification
The exotic Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 is currently available in a coupe body style and as a spyder convertible. The name LP560-4 refers to its engine position ("longitudinale posteriore" or longitudinal rear), its European horsepower measurement (560 ps) and that all four wheels are powered. There are also two lightweight versions: the LP 570-4 Superleggera coupe and LP 570-4 Spyder PerformanteThe Gallardo LP560-4 is powered by a 5.0-liter V10 good for 552 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission with gated metal shifter is standard, while an automated six-speed sequential-shift manual transmission known as e-gear is optional. The LP570-4 models benefit from some clever tuning to produce 562 hp and 398 lb-ft of torque. The e-gear transmission is standard. Expect 0-60 times in the high 3-second range for the LP560-4 and

Lamborghini Gallardo Mileage

The car delivers mileage of around 3km/litre in the city while the mileage on the highway is around 5 km/litrethe low 3-second range for the LP570-4.

 Design

In terms of layout and design, the Lamborghini Gallardo is a true exotic. To keep weight down, the chassis is a composite blend of alloy stampings, extrusions and castings. And except for the traditionally opening steel doors (no scissors), the exterior is constructed of thermoplastic-formed panels. To further reduce weight, the Superleggera and Spyder Performante receive carbon-fiber exterior and interior components, polycarbonate rear and side windows and lighter 19-inch wheels.
Inside, the Gallardo's handsome furnishings sublimely marry form with function and offer a surprising level of comfort for a vehicle of this type. Credit is certainly due to the influence of parent company Audi, whose expertise with interior design has been of no small benefit since the Volkswagen Group purchased Lamborghini in the late 1990s. The impact is obvious given the precisely fitting leather and soft-touch materials.

Despite the fact that this is an exotic sports car, seating is comfortable enough to accommodate the occasional road trip. Though not as flamboyant as its extroverted exterior, the interior styling still befits a vehicle in this price range. Storage space is tight, though, with a minimal amount of room available behind the seats and in the nose-mounted trunk

Lamborghini Reventon Review

Lamborghini has come a long way since corporate parents Audi produced their current Murcielago and Gallardo-based lineup, and the Italian automaker has since stepped up with an even more exclusive, seven figure ultra supercar, the Reventon.Based on the Murcielago LP640, the Lamborghini Reventon will enjoy a limited run of only 20 units, and I was lucky enough to spend a day testing the only one currently in existence just outside of Bologna, Italy. How does this $1.4 million, 211 mile per hour supercar make the LP640 seem downright pedestrian by comparison? Read on to find out.

Lamborghini Reventon Specifications

The Lamborghini Reventon review indicates that the design of the car was created when engineers at Lamborghini wanted to create a dramatic variation of the Murcielago. The exclusivity of this vehicle can be gauged from the fact that only 20 of these beautiful beasts were created and all were sold out. The car comes with a 6496cc, 12-cylinder, V12 petrol engine and this can generate power of 640 bhp at 8000 rpm along with peak torque of 660 Nm at 6000 rpm.

The length of the car is 4610mm and its width is 2058mm while its height is 1135mm.The exterior design of the car is made from CFC which is a carbon fibre material. The car has rigid tubular steel frame chassis. The car comes with 6-speed manual transmission. The top speed of the car is 340 km/hr and it can reach 0 to 100 km/hr in just 3.3 seconds.

The Lamborghini Reventon has double wishbone suspension with adjustable hydraulic shocks and anti roll bars along with anti squat and anti dive features. The brake system of the car includes large ventilated discs. The kerb weight of the car is 1665 kgs and it has fuel tank limit of 100 litres.

     Lamborghini Reventon Mileage
As per the Lamborghini Reventon review the car can deliver mileage of 2.5 km/litre in the city while the mileage on the highway is around 4 km/litre.

                                                                                         Lamborghini Reventon Interiors
The car has exterior lighting that features Bi-Xenon headlights and seven LEDs on each side along with as many as nine diodes as indicators as well as hazard lights. The rear portion of the car also has heatproof LEDs used for rear indicators and hazard lights. The interiors of the car draw its inspiration from the interiors of aircraft cockpits. The interiors have three LCD screens that display information that the driver may need.
The instruments in the car are cased in solid aluminium block structure and this is protected by carbon fiber casing. The car also has a new G-Force meter that displays dynamic drive forces and longitudinal acceleration in braking as well as in accelerating. The meter also displays transversal acceleration experienced in bends. The different forces are displayed through the indicator movement.

Now, it probably isn’t as bad as it looks, especially at first glance. But once you take a minute and start examining the car, you’ll notice that a lot of what makes the car look the way it does is the elements found in the aforementioned supercars. The front end looks like a dysfunctional marriage between an Enzo and a Reventon, the interior seating lay-out looks to have been ripped out of a McLaren F1 – except that this one looks far more cramped - and don’t even get us started on why those taillights look suspiciously like the ones found on the G35. It’s because they are!

Huawei Ascend P1 S Review

The Consumer Electronics Show 2012 witnessed the launch of the Huawei Ascend P1 and Ascent P1 S smartphones. Both of them offer Super AMOLED screens along with thinnest chassis ever in the market. The Chinese device manufacturer, Huawei, has termed these devices as the world's slimmest smartphones.

Huawei's Ascend P1 comes in two flavors - the P1 and P1 S. Both offer the same features but where the slimline P1 S gets a 1,670 mAh battery, the P1 is a slightly thicker 7.69 mm (0.3 in) thanks to a 1,800 mAh battery. Aside from the battery, both models have the same specs, which includes a 4.3-inch 960 x 540 pixel Super AMOLED touch display, 1.5 GHz dual core TI OMAP 4460 Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB onboard memory, 5.1 surround sound capabilities, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA support, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with backlight illuminated sensor and 1080p HD video capture capabilities, and a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for video calls.

Both quad-band GSM phones will come running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and feature a PPVD back cover coating designed to dissipate heat. They will come in metallic black, ceramic white and cherry-blossom pink when released in Europe, the Asia-Pacific, North America, Australia, the Middle East and China from April 2012, with additional colors also on the way. Huawei hasn't yet revealed pricing or potential carriers for the phones.

Huawei also announced the Ascend P1, an almost similar unit except for its size and battery power. With the launch of these new phones, the image of Huawei with its American consumers is about to take a change from its long standing ‘low cost’ and ‘budget’ notion.
The two phones will start shipping in Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific, China, Australia, and the Middle East in April. Options for colors include metallic black, cherry blossom pink, ceramic white, and more.

Sony Xperia SmartWatch Review

During CES 2012 Sony Ericsson had a new accessory to show off in the form of a new Bluetooth watch that can apparently play nicely with most Android smartphones running Android 2.1 and above and is called the Sony SmartWatch, so one can assume that Sony has now dropped the Ericsson part of the name.

The device itself is connected to your handset via Bluetooth and can answer calls, play music, act as a notifier, and allows the user to check on their social networks such as Twitter and Facebook and all done by a new app running on your phone and controlling the SmartWatch. With typical usage the battery life of the Sony SmartWatch is said to last four days, which seems very reasonable to me, the device sports a capacitive touch screen that works well although when asleep you need to tap the side button to wake it up.

Alongside its Sony Xperia Ion and Xperia S Android smartphones, Sony also used CES to launch its new Xperia Watch, the latest attempt at a connected watch.

The Xperia watch features a 1.3 inch OLED 128x128 resolution display and is designed to connect to Sony's Xperia Arc S (the latest Xperia smartphone) via Bluetooth. This allows you to use the watch to answer calls, read texts, control music, interact with certain apps like Facebook and Twitter, and even check weather reports.

Among the coolest (or most pointless - but aren't many of the coolest things in life?) is the ability to see the view through your phone's camera on the watch. The usefulness of this might be debatable but it works pretty well.

Crucially the watch actually looks pretty good. It's slim at just 8mm thick, and is only 36mm square. It also feels well built with a glass screen and metal chassis and buttons, and a comfortable (if sweat-enhancing) silicone strap. It also weighs just 15.5g.

It’s still dependent on connection to an Android phone via Bluetooth for all of its functionality, and that’s where the missing the mark bit comes in. Unlike the MotoACTV or even the iPod nano, the Xperia Smartwatch has no memory of its own. It can’t play music by itself, it simply controls music streamed from your phone. Though it runs some flavor of Android, it’s little more than a dumb terminal.
